All slate mounted art is based on my original canvas pieces. Having an HND in textile design, I incorporate this into my pieces through applying and unearthing layers of texture and colour using palette knives. Living at the foothills of the Angus Glens and a short journey from the North Sea, I have every colour palette on my doorstep. I feel my abstract paintings capture the spirit of Scotland, I hope you enjoy my interpretations.
