To keep your candles working at their best, practice safe candle care by following our guide below and ensure a quality scent experience with every burn.
HOW TO BURN YOUR CANDLE
1:Â Remove candle from packaging before lighting, retain the box for future reference.
2:Â Burn your candle indoors away from drafts and do not move when lit.
3:Â During the first burn allow the candle to burn long enough to melt to the edge of the glass, creating a melt pool. This prevents tunnelling.
4:Â Do not exceed burn time of 4 hours for 20cl and 30cl jars. For 9cl votive do not exceed 2 hours.
5:Â Extinguish with care as wax may splatter.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CANDLE
1: Ensure candle wick is trimmed to 5mm before burning.
2: Always remove trimmings and debris before lighting. Do not leave a candle burning unattended or near children or pets.
3:Â Do not place a candle on or near other heat sources, and never directly on furniture.
4:Â If smoking occurs when using the candle, extinguish and allow the wax to cool. Trim the wick to 5mm before relighting.
5:Â Discontinue use and extinguish candle when 1cm of wax remains.
